Coad Engineering Enterprises was founded by William J. Coad, P.E. as a vehicle for sharing his 45 plus years of experience in mechanical and electrical engineering... specifically in HVAC systems. The corporation has two operating subsidiaries, Coad Engineering Consulting and Engineering Software International.

Engineering Software International, Inc. (ESI) offers a set of engineering calculation programs to assist engineers and designers in the analysis and design of Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning Systems. The programs are interactive allowing the engineer or analyst the flexibility of iterative analysis when implementing design options.
